Dentist - Anyone !?!

A serious idea has popped into my head today. I have been wondering how I could make some extra money to live a better life while at school. I passed through a dentist office right here where my office is located. I have never seen this guy work, I mean never EVER! Some of my colleagues say that he pops into work whenever he has an appointment.

Assuming this guy has 4 patients everyday, and he charges 250$ on an average from every one of them. Heck, he has the potential to earn a good 30,000$ per month. And that’s for working roughly about 4 hrs everyday! Rent and utilities apart, this guy must be raking on the bucks!

Since then, I am wondering what it takes to be a dentist. I can give pain killers to folk who have tooth aches! Some people may need their teeth filled and some of them may need them removed. How hard can it be to learn these techniques - knocking off a few teeth or filling some gaps?? -- They seem so analogous to plumbing! Of course, you have to bear with people who may open their mouths like a hippo might, and a gush of bad breath may make you give up! But heck, that’s a small problem to deal with!

There are books out there like '10 Day MBA', ' SQL Server in 24 hrs'. Heck, why isn’t there a book like 'Dentist in a Month'? This book can teach us the basics about working with teeth, playing around with them and of course, some complicated medicine names! Eureka - I can be a Dentist too...

The Wikipedia says - Dentistry more appropriately "dental medicine", is the art and science of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions, diseases, and disorders of the oral cavity, the maxillofacial region, and its associated structures as it relates to human beings. While the work of dentists is often surgical in nature, dentists can and do treat many diseases of the oral cavity and face chemotherapeutically ....

OK OK, I give up :P

I have some solutions for few (if not all) of your problems -
1) There is something called oral rinse, that you can give your patients. Tell them it's mandatory, and it has some chemical treatment stuff.
2) I have already started working on my latest book "teach yourself dentistry in 24 minutes". Can you imagine you make money with patients, and I make money from aspiring dentists? You get a free copy.
3) You don't really have to treat all those sickening deseases. I am not even sure if i can spell decease/desease/de seize..... correctly, much less treating them. you can always say, I will refer you to a surgeon in so and so hospital. and you get referral fee from that surgeon. hehehehe... perhaps you will learn them all in your MBA.
